The felines love it We have two older female cats of whom can be picky with what they eat. To give a little context, I gave them a piece of salmon, ignored it, and left it in the plate. What cat doesn’t like salmon!? Anyway, each time the feeder lets some food down, the cats SPRINT to the feeder to get their daily rations. Having this on auto delivery works great for us as the feeder lets out enough food for two cats that this bag of food lasts us 3-4 months. As of now, the cats have not had any health issues and we have been using this product for about 4 years.The price for 3-4 months of food is reasonable, as our dog has prescribed food which is very pricey, so we are happy that this has worked for them and they are going strong. Having the automatic feeder is helpful as well so it portions what they eat to somewhat deter overeating.One con that I would give this product, hence why I cannot give it 5 stars, is that our larger cat has a tendency to throw the food up every once in a while. Not sure if it is from overeating, or if it is a mixture of having hairballs, but the mess to cleanup is slightly annoying, but our smaller cat that eats only what she needs, does just fine with it. Our vet does not think it is from the food, but it is something we experienced with this product.All in all, if you have older cats, this is a good product from our experience to have in your household.
