Description American DJ Focus Spot 5Z Overview The American DJ Focus Spot 5Z is a 200W moving-head spot fixture with motorized focus and zoom, well suited for lighting installations and live performance applications in clubs, theaters, and concert productions. The 5Z features a 200W cool-white LED engine (rated at 50,000 hours), 630° pan and 270° tilt, motorized focus, and a motorized zoom from 11 to 22°. Other notable features include a gobo wheel (6 aluminum and 1 glass) with 7 rotating/replaceable gobos, two color wheels, each with 7 vibrant colors plus white, and 2 rotating/indexable prisms, (one 5-facet linear and one 6-facet circular). It also has two frost effects (heavy frost and light frost) to create soft blurred-edge looks. This fixture features six selectable dimming curves as well as numerous built-in effects. For controls, the unit features two DMX channel modes (22/25) with 5-pin XLR DMX input and output connectors. Multiple units can be daisy-chained to create complex lighting installations. The color display on the front panel shows DMX addressing and function settings, controllable via the six-button interface. A dedicated USB port is available for firmware updates.
