Kungfu – Supply has been importing the world famous Top one – Feiyue 博文飞跃 shoes for over 20 years now.
The standard shoe for every wushu and kung fu practitioner! Made popular by the Chinese Shaolin Kungfu Monks. Also used in freerunning, parcour running, slacklining, calisthenics, platform shoes for powerlifting and barefoot running.
These are the simple original Dabowen (Top One) Feiyue shoes; originally manufactured for the local Chinese market. More specifically; these are the so called ‘Beijing Edition’. This new edition has a flatter sole. They are available in black or white in sizes 32 to 47.
Feiyue shoes originate from Shanghai and were traditionally produced by different factories within the same industrial group. Two versions are commonly found today. The models produced by Shanghai Daf u Rubber Co., Ltd. usually have a red circle in the sole and the word Feiyue clearly printed on the side. These are one branch of the original Chinese Feiyue production.
The other well-known version is produced by Shanghai Dabowen Shoe Co., Ltd., often referred to as Top One. These shoes are easily recognised by the green triangle in the sole. They follow the classic kungfu training design that has been widely used in Chinese martial arts schools for decades.
Because of historical licensing and trademark arrangements, the placement of the logos on the Dabowen shoes has changed over time. Older pairs typically show Top One on the tongue and Feiyue on the side, while newer production may show Feiyue on the tongue and Top One on the side. The shoe itself — construction, materials and factory — remains the same.
At Kungfu‑Supply we supply only the Dabowen / Top One version, identifiable by the green triangle in the sole, which is the traditional kungfu training shoe used in many martial arts schools for decades. It depends on the stock which version the customer receives; new stock shows Feiyue on the tongue and Top One on the side.
