Description Paraline 2×8″ Powered LoudspeakerThe Paraline compact line array series is a premium range of speakers with integrated power amplifiers. Easy to transport and set up, the enclosures can be used in ground stack or flown configurations, and are ideal for both touring and installations. All next-generation Paraline models offer essential features and high output, and are IP54 rated for outdoor use. The new PSA28 offers 1400 watts of peak power, neodymium drivers, and integrated rigging hardware.  It features two important technologies: Tom Danley’s patented Paraline Lens and Synergy Horn. The unique geometry of the Paraline Lens produces a precisely shaped wavefront that matches the horn’s physical coverage pattern. It provides a continuous horn throat from cabinet to cabinet in the vertical plane, virtually eliminating comb filtering.  The Paraline Lens is fed by high-output compression drivers, and the Synergy Horn configuration seamlessly couples the output of the Paraline Lens with the low-frequency drivers. The horn utilizes the entire front area of the cabinet, maximizing efficiency and directivity. Simple, intuitive controls let you quickly optimize the speaker response for your application.The PSA28 features a switchable high-pass filter for use with subwoofers, high-frequency boost to increase clarity, Nearfield mode to attenuate the horn when aimed at the audience closest to the stage, and compensation to counteract bass buildup as multiple enclosures are used together in a single vertical array. The PSA28 also features onboard limiting, powerCON® connectors for power input and pass-through, a dual-angle 35 mm (1 3/8”) stand adapter for use with the Yorkville SW-TUBEHD pole, and flush-mounted hardware to protect quick pins and rigging links. Optional accessories include the PSA28BUMPER and PSA28DOLLY. Need a more compact alternative?
